[Openspace] methodological question: LISA and continuous variables

LISA indicators should work for continuous variables. I primarily work 
with ratio variables though. Most applications of LISA that I have seen 
have been with ecologically based data such as countries, states, 
provinces, and so on. I don't have much experience with point data.
