[Openspace] methodological question: LISA and continuous variables

Dear All, I am a novice in spatial statistics, so I apologize for my trivial
question. I have a set of points bearing information on a continuous
variable (crustal movement velocities). I am interested in finding clusters
of high and low values: are LISA indicators (or non LISA like Gi*) a good
tool to perform cluster analysis of a continuous variable?
