[Openspace] Table Join Issues

  I am quite new to GeoDa and am having a problem with joining tables. 

  My Input Map is a US County that contains 250 precinct boundaries. 

  I have a .dbf table that matches the precincts to recent election results. My input map has the precinct identifiers as unique string values as does my .dbf table. I use the precinct string identifier on my dbf (input table) as the Key. But when I try to join the other columns from my input table I get a "Keys are not Matched" error. 

  Any suggestions as to rectify this would be welcome!
