[Openspace] multivariate LISA

Hi, everyone.  

I'm a new to GeoDa, and I'm using 0.9.  
I hope I can hear your opinion on two of my concerns. 


Does it make any theoretical sense if I do
multivariate LISA test using variable_X and
Weight_variable_X (the lagged variable for the
variable_X)?  
Is it different from univariate LISA test?  

Is there any way I can calculate actual distance in
miles or kilometers instead of digital numbers when I
use distance weight?
