UCSB Golledge Distinguished Lecture: 20 Years Since Spatial Econometrics

On May 7, Director and Foundation Professor Luc Anselin presented
the Reginald G. and Allison L. Distinguished Lecture in Geography,
sponsored by the Geography Department at the University of California,
Santa Barbara.

The presentation, "20 years since Spatial Econometrics," reflected
on the evolution of spatial econometrics 20 years after publication of
Anselin's book on the topic.

The talk focused on roots of the field in quantitative geography and
regional science, and commented on current trends and outstanding
methodological issues.
