Spatial Econometrics Workshop in ERSA Summer Institute

Director and Foundation Professor Luc Anselin led a spatial
econometrics workshop as one element of ERSA's PREPARE Summer
Institute, held July 6-15, 2008 in Pecs, Hungary.

The ERSA / PREPARE Summer Institute provides Ph.D. students and
young researchers with skills and knowledge to advance their research
careers. This year's institute provided advanced training in spatial
econometrics and spatial computable general equilibrium modelling.

The intense ten-day institute includes lectures, hands-on training,
student presentations and discussion. Participation in the institute
was competitive, with doctoral students and junior researchers from EU
or associated countries invited to apply.
