R Featured in New York Times

The New York Times recently featured the open source programming language R, which is also widely used by spatial analysts. R's spatial projects R-Geo are maintained by Dr. Roger Bivand of the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and hosted by the GeoDa Center. At the Center, Dr. Gianfranco Piras is currently developing new spatial econometric code in R.
