Center Continues to Grow & Welcomes Dr. Piras

The GeoDa Center continues to grow in a hiring spurt of top-notch talent. In the last month, two computer scientists joined the Center, Dr. Mark McCann and Andrew Winslow. In addition, the Center is proud to welcome the spatial econometrician Dr. Gianfranco Piras. "We are delighted that the Center continues to be able to attract talent of the caliber of Mark, Andrew and Gianfranco. These recent hires further strengthen the Center's leadership role in the development of spatial analytic methods and tools," said Luc Anselin, Center Director and Foundation Professor.
