Anselin Seals Collaborative Agreement with Bandung Institute of Technology

In the photo below, GeoDa Center Director and Foundation Professor Luc Anselin seals a collaborative agreement with Dr. Ir. Djoko Santoso, President (Rector) of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Indonesia, June 11, 2008.

The agreement is for collaborative research and scholar exchange between ASU's GeoDa Center and the Center for Urban and Regional Infrastructures and Environment at ITB.

Luc Anselin also presented two workshops to students from ITB and the University of Indonesia, on "What is special about spatial thinking and spatial econometrics" and "Mapping and analysis for spatial social science."

Earlier in the year, Dr. Ibnu Syabri from ITB visited the GeoDa Center.
